You translate technical knowledge into smart BIM models for large utility projects. You design and model building-related mechanical installations. You work on diverse projects, including those in healthcare institutions, hospitals, offices, and government buildings. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that technical designs are accurately elaborated.
What you do
As a BIM Modeler, you are responsible for designing and modeling building-related mechanical installations. From the design, you develop the necessary installations into clear and usable models and drawings. You work closely with colleagues within the project team and regularly participate in BIM sessions with the client and other stakeholders. Your activities include:
- Modeling mechanical installations, including details, openings
- Elaborating installation diagrams and floor plans
- Preparing working drawings for execution
Profile
You are analytically strong, work accurately, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and other stakeholders. You communicate easily, think in solutions and are ambitious to further develop yourself within BIM and installation technology. Additionally, you possess:
- Education in Installation Technology or Mechanical Engineering or relevant work experience within installation technology
- MIT or HIT education is a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Practical
