What you do

As a Traffic Measures Project Leader at an infrastructure organization, you are ultimately responsible for the coordination, execution, and completion of traffic measures on projects. In this role, you combine strategic overview with operational decisiveness and are the connecting link between the client, execution, and your team.

  • You are responsible for the entire project cycle: from tendering and pricing to execution, evaluation, and final settlement
  • You monitor project progress, the deployment of personnel and equipment, the safety of your colleagues, financial results, and the quality of execution
  • You maintain intensive contact with the client to ensure safety, punctuality
  • You are available for emergencies or escalations and step in where necessary – this requires flexibility and solution-oriented thinking
  • You continuously look for ways to make processes smarter, safer, and more efficient

Your team. You will be part of a traffic measures department that falls under a department within the infrastructure organization. Your base is a service house, but you will also be found on projects, ranging from asphalt maintenance projects for a municipality, work on N and A roads, or even for private individuals such as an energy company. Within this setting, you and your team make a crucial contribution to safety and traffic flow during infrastructure projects.

You work closely with colleagues from the project teams and clients, where safety, accuracy, and communication are top priorities.

What they ask

  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a manager in traffic measures or in an infrastructure-related environment
  • A relevant network from the region
  • HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level
  • A proactive attitude and a customer-oriented approach
  • A flexible attitude to keep up with projects as effectively as possible
