- Participants gain subject-specific knowledge and learn to apply new competencies in practice.
- The target audience consists of technicians, maintenance staff, and operators from industrial environments.
- Lesson times are during the day and/or in the evening.
What you do
- You make lessons interactive and varied, so that participants acquire and can apply new knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
- You use relevant (digital) teaching methods to improve the learning experience and create engagement.
- You develop teaching materials (hand-outs, online content, practical exercises) and/or ensure that available materials are up-to-date and relevant.
- You coach students throughout the training so that they achieve their goals.
- You represent the educational institution and contribute to its image as a place for expertise, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
What they ask
- Knowledge and experience with:
- Industrial measurement and control technology.
- Sensors, transmitters, and actuators.
- Measuring temperature, pressure, flow, and level, among others.
- Analog and digital measurement signals.
- Control loops and control principles such as on/off and PID controls.
- Setting, testing, and calibrating measurement and control equipment.
- PLCs and the interaction between automation and control technology.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing faults in measurement and control systems.
- An open learning attitude and empathy for people in different phases of the learning process.
- A pedagogical diploma is NOT a must; some experience with teaching/speaking to a group is a plus.
- Good command of Dutch.
