You will work for a reception organization that accommodates unaccompanied minor foreign nationals. Locations vary from permanent reception centers to emergency shelters in various buildings. Teams consist of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential counselors, and behavioral experts.
What you will do.
- Guide young people (13-18 years old) in their personal development, independence, and undertaking activities.
- Organize group activities such as cooking, sports, and creative pursuits.
- Act as a shadow mentor for complex cases and conduct methodical discussions.
- Perform room checks and provide information.
- Collaborate in a team with regular meetings and intervision sessions.
What they ask
- Minimum of an MBO level 4 diploma in an agogic field (e.g., Social Work, Personal Counselor Social Care, Counselor Specific Target Groups, Pedagogical Employee).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of methodical guidance and intercultural communication.
- Availability for irregular shifts, including nights and weekends.
