Workshops are developed to stimulate and motivate students.

What you will do.

Engage in discussions with students about their (side) jobs.
Provide students with tools based on their experiences, so they can enter the labor market well-prepared and enthusiastically.
Interest students in trade union membership and inform them about what it can mean for them and others.
Give various workshops at different levels.
Respond to classroom interaction and ensure a dynamic lesson.
Collaborate with colleagues on recruiting lessons and creative ways to reach young people.

What they ask

Affinity with the target group (young people between 16 and 25).
Hbo (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
Experience as a teacher is not required.
Legal knowledge is a plus.
Good communication skills: you can initiate and manage conversations and discussions effectively.
You enjoy actively recruiting members and new lessons; networking comes easily to you.
Possession of a B driving license is a plus.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of relevant developments and trends in education is a plus.

Practical

You will work in a diverse team of approximately 20 colleagues.
You will give guest lectures at various regional training centers (ROC's) in the Netherlands.
You often work independently and travel frequently.
Travel time counts as working time, during which you can prepare your guest lectures and update administration.
The team collaborates closely with the youth department of the organization.
