Corporate Governance Data Procurement Trainee

An organization that empowers investors and companies to build for long-term and sustainable growth is seeking a pool of talented and self-motivated data analyst trainees. These trainees will be assigned to a dynamic regional market (Eastern Europe and other markets based on business needs) and guided by experienced analysts. As a trainee, you will become an integral part of the team with the crucial role of helping deliver data to institutional shareholders.

The traineeship will take place during "proxy voting season" to support clients in making informed voting decisions.

What you will do.

• Gather comprehensive data in companies' public documents (annual reports, reference documents, etc.), notably concerning board composition, related-party transactions, auditors’ fees, etc.
• Collect and analyze information with regards to the local code of best practice in corporate governance and the organization's voting policy.

What they ask

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written) and Polish or Russian.
• A relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law, or Political Sciences or in the process of obtaining such a degree.
• Prior experience in a relevant area will be considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability, numeracy, strong oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to assimilate large quantities of information, work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
• An organized and structured mind.
