A technology company is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong interest in AI to help shape the future of a proven SaaS platform in the real estate sector. The company develops an innovative SaaS solution used daily by hundreds of customers in the private and public sector. The product is well established, but AI is opening up new possibilities for automation and how users interact with the platform.
What you do
- Figure out what can actually be done with AI and turn those ideas into working solutions.
- Build and experiment with AI agents that can understand what a user wants, work with the existing backend and databases, and take action on their behalf.
- Ensure correct permissions and customer environments, so an agent understands what is technically possible and what a specific user is allowed to do.
- Replace manual workflows with an AI agent that can understand a request and execute the right steps.
- Find opportunities where AI can simply take work off people's hands.
- Experiment and push boundaries in a new area for the organization.
What they ask
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Solid understanding of backend development and databases.
- Genuine interest in AI (years of AI experience are not required).
- Understanding of how software works and excitement to explore how agents can be built and integrated into a real product.
- Work closely with the engineering team to experiment, build prototypes, and turn successful ideas into reliable features.
- Be curious, pragmatic, and not afraid to try something new.
