What you do
As a communication and production assistant, you move between content and practical tasks. One moment you're writing a social media post about research, the next you're helping to prepare a room for a meeting. It's a role with a lot of variety and freedom.
- Content creation: you write texts, create social media posts and newsletters. There is also room to actively contribute to content in the form of photos, videos, and graphic design (in Figma).
- Creating encounters: you support events and meetups, both organizationally and with room setup.
- Room for your own form: do you have experience with theater, music, writing, or another art form? Then you are invited to use it to tell stories in new ways. Within the role, there is space for your own talents, ideas, and interests.
Profile
You are a good fit for the organization if you:
- want to learn more about inequality, power, dignity, and solidarity;
- enjoy telling stories with text and images;
- can make complex ideas accessible without oversimplifying them;
- enjoy experiencing the organization's practice up close;
- like to arrange practical matters and assist where needed;
- can work independently and dare to make decisions;
- enjoy an environment where not everything is fixed yet.
It is a plus if you live near the location and/or have a driving license, due to the production tasks.
Practical
The organization offers rich and varied work, with ample room to contribute ideas, experiment, and develop yourself further. Many different things are developed: from intimate gatherings and larger symposiums to public campaigns and physical publications, and possibly a podcast in the near future. The communication team consists of two other people: Head of Communication and Design & Community. They are supported by several external professionals who assist with photo/videography, creative direction, and PR.
