What you will do.
- Design, build, maintain, optimize, and validate data transformation and data validation processes for processing and integrating data from various sources.
- Assist in the development of converting the current environment (MS SQL + FME) to a modern open source tech stack.
- Collaborate in analysis trajectories to deliver high-quality information products/data marts to the business.
- Contribute to managing and monitoring data quality processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Stay abreast of market developments.
What they ask
- A completed HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) degree, preferably in computer science, data science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the field.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and data integration.
- Experience with SQL and preferably also with Python and Git. Knowledge of Source control is important here.
- Experience with an orchestrator such as Dagster, FME, or Azure Data Factory.
Nice to have.
- Experience with dlt and SQLMesh.
- Experience with Agile working using Scrum.
- Experience with the GGM (Municipal Data Model) or modeling in a municipal environment.
- Experience with data management (DAMA-DMBoK).
Profile
- You will work in the BI & Data cluster, part of the Information Provision & Data-Driven Working (ID) team.
- The cluster is responsible for collecting, registering, and managing an increasing number of basic data, combining and analyzing this data, and visualizing and presenting the results.
- The cluster also ensures the continuous development towards a data-driven organization.
- The team is a bit quirky and at the same time down-to-earth.
