Operations Team Leader
An interim Operations Team Leader is sought for an office organization. This temporary position is to replace an absent colleague. You will coordinate and ensure the smooth running of operational processes, guaranteeing a professional, efficient, and hospitable office environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors.
You will lead and further develop the Operations and Reception teams, and ensure the quality of service in office management, hospitality, supplier management, facility processes, and workplace experience. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business teams, and external service providers.
What you do
- Organize and oversee daily office operations and continuously improve operational processes.
- Coordinate cleaning services, mail and courier services, office supplies, maintenance, repairs, renovations, office relocations, and workplace design.
- Manage building safety, access control, compliance with health and safety regulations, and ergonomic workplace measures.
- Lead the local Crisis Management Team, in close collaboration with the global team, including keeping the crisis plan and communication flows up to date.
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts, focusing on service quality, compliance with agreements, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and monitor the operations budget and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Lead the local Environmental Team, stimulate sustainability initiatives, and maintain the Environmental Management System.
- Lead, guide, and support the Operations team and contribute to a professional, service-oriented, and collegial team culture.
- Manage the relationship with the business travel provider, focusing on service quality, policy, costs, and improvement.
- Plan and support internal events and workplace initiatives that contribute to employee engagement, visitor experience, and office culture.
- Responsible for Reception and Conference Services, including ensuring a professional experience for clients, visitors, and colleagues, monitoring the quality of meeting rooms, hospitality, catering, and conference support, and supporting reception staff with planning, training, and performance monitoring.
