We are looking for an experienced Programme Management Officer (PMO) to support a major cross-border electricity interconnector infrastructure program. The role focuses on integrated programme management, CAPEX budgeting, scheduling, risk management, governance and reporting within a complex engineering and infrastructure environment. You will work closely with the Programme Manager, Project Leaders, Project Engineers and PMO specialists to ensure effective programme coordination, transparency and delivery.
What You'll Do.
- Define, maintain and improve PMO frameworks, governance standards and programme-control processes.
- Establish and maintain integrated scope, schedule and budget baselines, ensuring traceability and change control.
- Consolidate CAPEX budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, financial variances and risk provisions.
- Coordinate programme schedules, milestones, dependencies and progress tracking.
- Manage risks, opportunities, mitigation plans and corrective actions.
- Prepare programme dashboards, management reports and governance presentations to support decision-making.
- Coordinate PMO experts, project teams and technical stakeholders, monitoring priorities and resolving bottlenecks.
What they ask
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Finance, Business Management or a related technical/business discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project or programme management experience.
- Strong experience in PMO governance, budget control, scheduling, risk management and programme reporting.
- Ability to manage integrated project baselines, milestones, dependencies and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams and senior management.
Strongly Preferred.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, engineering, construction or CAPEX projects.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP and Power BI.
- Experience with risk management methodologies, financial forecasting and programme controls.
- PMI/PMP training or equivalent project-management qualification.
- Exposure to energy infrastructure, electricity transmission or major industrial programmes.
Practical
- Professional command of Dutch and/or French is required.
- Professional English is required.
