For mechanical excavation work, it is legally required to make a prior notification to an information system for cables and pipelines.
- This system collects and provides insight into digital information about cables and pipelines.
- You will contribute to innovations and the operational maintenance of various applications running in a Kubernetes cluster.
- You are comfortable with developing, managing, and maintaining applications.
- You implement technical innovations and ensure that components are and remain of high quality.
- You also ensure that applications on the various OTAP environments communicate flawlessly with internal and external components.
What you do
- Developing, managing, and maintaining software applications.
- Contributing to the realization and quality assurance of software so that it performs as expected.
- Renewing and keeping operational various applications running in a Kubernetes cluster.
- Automating the monitoring of services.
- Participating in a Scrum team and continuously improving services and ways of working.
What they ask
- The candidate must be fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Completed (bachelor) HBO education or higher.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience with Java development.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience with Docker.
- Minimum 2 years demonstrable work experience with Kubernetes.
- Minimum 2 years demonstrable work experience in the excavation sector.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a DevOps team.
Preferences.
- A description of approach and experience with the specific challenges related to a complex service/product such as an information system for cables and pipelines.
- A description of 2 crucial bottlenecks that often occur in this type of work and how they are resolved.
- A clear demonstration of how the provided expertise and competencies contribute to achieving results.
