Leading complex high-voltage substations for the energy transition. You take full responsibility from request to delivery. You monitor budgets, manage the procurement process, ensure safety, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in electrical engineering, civil engineering, and infrastructure technology. You independently manage multiple projects within high-voltage technology, at stations where energy generation, transmission, and supply converge.
You are the central point of contact for technical, organizational, and contractual issues within these energy projects. You will work for an international industrial service provider in the energy sector, active in consultancy, engineering, project management, and asset management. The business unit specifically focuses on high-voltage substations and energy networks for Dutch grid operators.
From this unit, projects are realized for the generation, transmission, supply, and storage of energy, contributing concretely to a future-proof high-voltage grid and the energy transition. Within this environment, you will work in multidisciplinary project teams where electrical engineering, civil engineering, and infrastructure technology come together.
Intensive use is made of project management tools, planning software, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint for project documentation, progress monitoring, and collaboration with stakeholders. Contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, and D&C are standard parts of the working method.
What you do
- Leading projects within high-voltage substations, including managing ordering processes and project budgets
- Managing the entire procurement process from request to contract formation
- Ensuring complete and correct project documentation in accordance with requirements and contract forms
- Advising the project team on risks, planning
- Coordinating and directing on-site activities, with technical involvement in the execution
- Monitoring project progress and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Applying and monitoring safety regulations and contractual agreements
- Working with planning software, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools for reporting and progress monitoring
What they ask
- MBO or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology
- Experience in project management or project coordination in an energy technology environment
- Knowledge of high-voltage technology, civil engineering, or infrastructure technology
- Experience with safety regulations and contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, and D&C
- Experience with planning software, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools
- Cost-conscious and results-oriented work, with a high degree of independence
- Good communication skills for coordination with execution, procurement
- Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team
