Practice Nurse for Disability Care

You will be part of the medical team and the team of practice nurses within a healthcare organization.

• You play an important role in nursing diagnostics and treatment.
• You perform triage according to a stepped care approach.
• You independently determine what you can resolve and what you delegate to a nursing specialist or doctor.

What you will do.

• You conduct independent consultations at various residential locations with a wide diversity of nursing and medical care needs, such as wound care, palliative and terminal trajectories, and minor medical interventions under the supervision of doctors.
• You have a monitoring function for the doctors and perform nursing technical procedures indicated by them.
• You coach supervisors at the residence in implementing medical policy and adjust where necessary.
• You work closely with supervisors and medical, paramedical, and behavioral disciplines.
• You initiate, monitor, and evaluate implemented treatments in consultation with doctors.
• You provide instructions and advice to care staff at the various residential locations.
• You will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvements and innovative projects.
• You contribute to the development and improvement of care content policy.
