Events Manager

For a large retail organization in Belgium, an experienced professional is sought to organize events and follow up on commercial incentives for independent partners. You will work in a team of colleagues within internal and affiliate communication.

What you will do.

• You will take full responsibility for the organization of events: concept, planning, communication, suppliers, logistics, and on-site execution.
• You will coordinate major events for partners and internal support teams.
• You will ensure coherence between the program, location, invitations, practical organization, and evening program.
• You will initiate and plan future events, including mapping dependencies between teams.
• You will organize and communicate commercial competitions and incentives for partners.
• You will follow up on the process and collect the results.
• You will manage a significant event budget and negotiate with event agencies and suppliers.
• On event days, you will be present, resolve issues as they arise, and ensure the smooth running of the program.

What they ask

• Demonstrable experience in independently organizing larger events.
• Ability to maintain an overview while also handling practical execution.
• Structured planning, strong negotiation skills, and remaining solution-oriented when changes occur during an event.
• Fluent oral communication in Dutch and French.
• Experience in retail or with a network of stores or independent partners is a strong asset.
• Availability on event days, including evening programs. No weekend work.
