As an Asset Manager, you are responsible for the implementation and daily operation of asset management for the infrastructure, combined with the general management of an organization's patrimony.
What you do
- Implement asset management within the organization
- Perform or arrange for inspections, detailed research programs, and interpret results
- Collect and map all information related to the infrastructure
- Support management in developing cost-effective maintenance concepts, work packages, and work instructions
- Prepare specifications, quantity surveys
- Administrative and financial follow-up of asset management
- Consult and negotiate with involved partners
- Functionally guide and coach asset management supervisors and draftsmen
- Acquire and monitor a general understanding of the state of the patrimony
- Patrimony maintenance: determine needs, plan priorities, and follow up on execution
- Propose and follow up on planning and cost aspects
- Communicate and regularly coordinate with involved partners
- Functionally guide and coach supervisors responsible for daily field follow-up
What they ask
- Master's level of work and thinking
- Completed education as a civil engineer
- Experience with or knowledge of asset management (management system) and inspection techniques, or willingness to acquire this
- Knowledge of GIS
- Preferably knowledge of AutoCAD
- Analytical and critical mindset, solution-oriented
- Experience with project-based work and maintaining structure and overview
- Strong communication skills and ability to persuade, even in settings with conflicting interests
