A multidisciplinary expertise center, specialized in the diagnosis and guidance of developmental problems such as autism, ADHD, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, learning and behavioral problems, is looking for a physiotherapist. The center works with children, adolescents, and adults and strongly emphasizes collaboration between different disciplines. This role replaces the current physiotherapist and primarily focuses on conducting physiotherapeutic research within multidisciplinary diagnostic pathways.
Depending on experience and interests, there is room to develop a physiotherapeutic guidance program.
What you will do.
- Conduct physiotherapeutic research within multidisciplinary diagnostic pathways, focusing on motor and psychomotor development.
- Observe and map relevant motor, sensory, and functional characteristics.
- Process research findings into a clear and professional report.
- Formulate advice that aligns with the client's support needs.
- If desired, offer individual physiotherapeutic guidance or develop a group program.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, psychologists, remedial educators, speech therapists, and other disciplines.
- Actively participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary consultations.
Profile
- Master's degree in rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy and in order with the necessary recognitions.
- Knowledge of and preferably experience with developmental problems and neurodivergence.
- Experience with diagnostic research in children, adolescents, and/or adults is a significant added value.
- Willingness to further delve into relevant research instruments and diagnostic questions.
- Work accurately and independently, but also feel at home within a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate clearly and interact professionally, respectfully, and engaged with clients, their context, and colleagues.
