Design and engineer complex medium and high voltage installations from 100kV, with a focus on 110kV and 380kV transformer stations.
- Work as an independent specialist on energy projects for grid operators, ranging from new station construction to expansion and renovation of existing networks.
- The technical core of the assignment lies in basic and detailed engineering within electrical engineering and energy technology, directly contributing to a smart, reliable, and sustainable electricity grid.
- The client is a technical service provider in the (sustainable) energy and high voltage sector.
- The organization focuses on engineering, supply, and construction of medium and high voltage installations in the range of approximately 110kV to 380kV.
- Realize energy projects in the field of grid integration, substation automation, and high voltage products, in collaboration with subcontractors.
- Work on diverse assignments, from new construction to renovation and integration of sustainable energy.
- Work in multidisciplinary project teams on concrete solutions for the energy transition and the continuity of the electricity grid.
What you do
- Design basic engineering for 110kV and 380kV high voltage stations and medium voltage installations.
- Develop detailed engineering for high voltage and medium voltage installations within electrical engineering and energy technology.
- Act as a technical point of contact for fellow engineers, drafters, and clients.
- Translate client specifications, standards, and requirements into practical, safe, and future-proof designs.
- Coordinate activities with internal disciplines and external project partners.
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with the technical scope and requirements within the assigned engineering packages.
- Secure and document technical knowledge and actively contribute to innovation within high voltage projects.
What they ask
- A completed HBO or university degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience within medium and high voltage projects.
- Demonstrable experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
- Experience with engineering and drawing software such as Elcad.
- In possession of at least a VCA-Basis certificate.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
