Functional Application Manager Radiology
You are looking for a challenging role as a functional application manager within a progressive department. You will work with the latest technologies and contribute directly to better patient care within a healthcare organization.
What you will do.
- You will manage digital information systems, such as PACS (Enterprise), hospital information systems, speech recognition, and other (AI) applications for Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and other care and functional departments.
- You will act as a bridge between care and IT by setting up and optimizing (department-spanning) workflows in collaboration with users and other departments.
- You will be responsible for providing statistics and management information, ensuring optimal service delivery.
- You will initiate, develop, coordinate, and advise on the management of applications and information systems, and provide substantive, functional, and technical support.
- You will guide change processes, bridge differences, and maintain internal and external contacts at various levels.
- You will translate user needs into functional solutions.
What you will be part of. You will work within a team of specialists and key-users focused on functional management. This team supports various locations. The Medical Imaging Techniques department, consisting of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, is a large department with over 150 employees. The department is characterized by a professional, quality-oriented work environment where personal initiatives are valued. The team actively collaborates and strives to provide the best care with the best equipment.

- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
- Several years of work experience with HiX/PACS in the field.
- A relevant master's degree in Healthcare & IT (e.g., Advanced Health Informatics Practice or Health Informatics) is a plus.
- Analytical skills, pattern recognition, and process-oriented work.
- In-depth knowledge of image management.
- Knowledge of storage and usage methods of PACS systems, hospital information systems, speech recognition, and their technical/functional setup.
- Experience with project-based work and change processes.
- Ability to analyze and solve image management problems outside the department.
- Tact, persuasiveness, and service-orientation.
- Ability to motivate, stimulate, and bridge differences.
Practical
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required prior to employment.
