Schedule Management Advisor

As a schedule management advisor, you work on the blueprint of a correctional facility. The daily planning of employees and the daily programs for detainees must align every day. You look at the personnel deployment required for this, not only for today, but also further ahead. You create forecasts, analyze available capacity, and help the organization steer accordingly. You don't need to be a highly educated data analyst.

However, we are looking for someone who is good with numbers, curious about what happens behind those numbers, and can strongly substantiate their advice.

What you will do.

• You ensure that personnel deployment aligns with the daily planning and the daily programs for detainees
• You look ahead, create forecasts and analyses, and identify where bottlenecks may arise in the future
• You translate figures into practical steering information and advise supervisors and management on personnel deployment
• Together with another advisor, you provide substantive support and guidance to personnel planners and work with InPlanning
• You collaborate extensively with planning, supervisors, Business Control, HR, and P&C, and contribute to optimizing how planning is organized

What they ask

• You have at least MBO-3 working and thinking level and are good with numbers and analyses
• You have solid knowledge of Excel, Visual Basic, pivot tables, VBA, and macros. This is a strict requirement
• You find it interesting to look ahead and can translate figures into forecasts, analyses
• You are assertive. You dare to express your opinion, know what you are talking about, and can explain the basis of your advice
• You bring positive energy, take initiative, and feel comfortable in an open and transparent culture
• Experience with personnel planning, scheduling, or InPlanning is a plus, but not a requirement
• Self-knowledge is at least as important: you know what you are good at, what you still want to learn, and what you are looking for in your next step
