• Operate at the intersection of aviation, policy, and the living environment

• Quickly grasp complex issues and translate specialized knowledge into clear choices and advice

• Ensure projects do not get stuck in the gap between technical feasibility and legal requirements
• Act as the connecting link between the client, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders

• University degree (WO) and several years of relevant experience
• Connecting personality with strong social skills
• Easily navigate different contexts: from technical discussions to strategic conversations
• Political-administrative sensitivity
• Ability to structure work, monitor progress, and liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Maintain control over planning and quality amidst changing priorities and/or pressure
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• No objection to working on defense assignments

• Recognize where knowledge can add value for clients and translate this into concrete opportunities and activities
• Experience with or knowledge of (aviation) engineering
• Familiarity with the impact of (aviation) emissions and noise on the living environment
• Experience working with or for a national organization

About the organization.

• The Sustainability and Living Environment department consists of a group of 40 enthusiastic experts
• The group is divided into four teams: Sustainability, Emissions, Noise
• Focus on independent, systematic, and generally technical research into the impact of aviation on the living environment
• Research into the consequences of making aviation more sustainable
• Knowledge built, including internationally, is directly applied to the daily operations of (inter)national airports and in policy issues for (inter)national governments
• Clients come from the aviation sector and include various government bodies, such as ministries, provinces
