Foreman water connection
For a permanent exhibition venue, a Foreman water connection is sought, in the role of Site Coordinator. You will be responsible and autonomous for ensuring the correct water connections across all exhibition floors. Priority is on timely delivery and execution of planning and capacity, with an own warehouse and available technicians, to meet agreed-upon commitments.
A specialized company in temporary water solutions for exhibitions, conferences, events, and trade fairs worldwide is looking for a Site Coordinator for a permanent exhibition venue. You will work with field service engineers from the head office to ensure correct and timely water connections for clients.
What you do
As Site Coordinator, you are responsible for the proper preparation and execution of all water connections on the exhibition floor for new exhibitors. You maintain close contact with the exhibition organization's staff, read the CAD drawings you receive from them, and translate these into a sound plan for materials and personnel.
You collaborate with the planner from the head office to assemble the best team of field service engineers (technicians) to ensure everything is delivered on time according to agreements and protocols. Common tasks include:
- Maintaining contacts with exhibition organizations, suppliers, planner, and internal colleagues
- Preparing and elaborating on the setup and dismantling, service & maintenance of materials and personnel
- Managing a team of technicians and supervising the correct execution of work
- Responsible for on-site service, malfunctions, water quality, and safety on the exhibition floor
- Managing the warehouse and performing minor maintenance on materials
- Timely communication of prices for services, service, and additional work to the exhibition organization
If a project is small in scope and only requires one person, you will install the water connections yourself and assist where necessary. On average, you will also work a weekend shift once every two months and participate in the work on the exhibition floor.
Profile
- Experience as a team leader, foreman, senior service engineer, installer
- Experience in installation technology, water connection
- Good communication skills in Dutch (French is a plus, not a must)
- Service- and results-oriented, and skilled in planning and organizing
- Willingness to assist during weekends or evenings (on average once every 2 months)
- Willingness to take leave in July or August, due to exhibition planning
