Congestion Officer
You will analyze complex congestion risks, design and scale innovative processes for the electricity grid, and act as a strategic point of contact to realize improvements with various internal and external stakeholders.
The demand for transport and distribution capacity is growing explosively. Grid load is increasing so rapidly that ongoing grid reinforcements and expansions are not providing sufficient capacity quickly enough. This leads to congestion in the electricity grid. To create more space in the grid in the short term, an energy company must get the most out of the existing electricity grid.
As a Congestion Officer at the Congestion Office of a grid operator, you are responsible for shaping the necessary changes to make this ambition a reality. You will work with various organizational units to build new techniques and processes. The focus area of this assignment is on scaling up a new working method for connecting customers to a reserve/emergency lane.
You will work with your colleagues from the Congestion Office and the operators in the energy company's control rooms, who ensure the network functions smoothly. This new discipline embraces an open culture with feedback, humor, and a strong team spirit. In this dynamic environment where the electricity grid is constantly changing, you are part of a team that strives for collaboration and a positive working atmosphere.
