Building Development Project Manager

That's why we are looking for a Building Development Project Manager to help shape the further development of a site. You will coordinate an important master plan study and bring together the needs of various care and service activities into a shared future vision for the site.

Together with colleagues, management, and external partners, you will work on sustainable and feasible real estate solutions that align with the organization's long-term ambitions. In this way, you will help build an environment that optimally supports future care and service provision for clients, employees, and the organization.

What you do

You coordinate complex real estate and development projects, bringing various stakeholders together. With well-founded analyses and clear advice, you support decision-making and ensure smooth project follow-up.

  • Coordinate the master plan study for the site and follow up on the external consulting firm and other involved partners.
  • Identify needs and opportunities and translate them into feasible scenarios.
  • Perform financial, technical, spatial, and strategic analyses and assess the feasibility of investment proposals.
  • Develop business cases, investment dossiers, and risk analyses to support decision-making.
  • Monitor the coherence between real estate developments, regulations, sustainability, quality, and financial feasibility.
  • Organize and facilitate consultation between management, users, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Take on the coordination of construction, renovation, and development projects resulting from decisions made.
  • Closely monitor budgets, subsidies, planning, contracts, and risks.
  • Actively search for subsidy channels and draft the necessary subsidy applications (e.g., VIPA).
  • Maintain contacts with architects, consulting firms, contractors, project developers, and authorities.
  • Report on progress, points of attention, and decision-making moments to management and steering committees.

Profile

You enjoy analyzing complex issues and converting them into feasible solutions. You maintain an overview, easily establish contact between various stakeholders, and work purposefully towards a result.

  • Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • Experience with complex construction, renovation, or real estate projects and comfortable in a project-based environment.
  • Ability to make financial, technical, and strategic considerations and translate them into clear advice and well-founded decisions.
  • Ability to engage diverse stakeholders in a narrative and easily build collaborations.
  • Familiar with building regulations, quality standards, and tendering procedures.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector, VIPA regulations, or project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 is a plus.
