HR Advisor

As an HR advisor, you are the sparring partner and process guide for managers and employees on various HR issues. You advise across the full spectrum of HR: from recruitment and selection, vitality and sustainable employability to absenteeism and outflow. You maintain an overview of HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these into concrete actions. Additionally, you actively contribute to organization-wide HR projects.

Your activities.

• Coordinate recruitment and selection, including conducting job interviews and discussing employment conditions
• Inform and advise managers and employees on regulations, legal status, and employment conditions
• Monitor and support actions under the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter) and guide managers with sick leave within their team
• Apply for residence permits and the 30% ruling for international colleagues
• Administer the inflow, throughflow, and outflow process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations
• Contribute to the further development of a specific HR-related topic

You are an HR professional who thrives in a broad HR role where no two days are the same. You combine a keen eye for detail with a people-oriented approach and can effortlessly switch between administrative processes, advice, and daily questions from employees and managers. You find it interesting to work with independent professionals. You can build trust, but are also able to set frameworks based on your HR expertise and offer a different perspective where necessary.

What they ask

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar broad role
• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably a completed degree in HRM
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Good advisory skills, a proactive attitude, excellent overview
• Identifies opportunities, contributes ideas, and takes initiative to further improve HR processes
• Proficient in spoken and written Dutch and English
