Information Security & Privacy Advisor

A government organization supports public institutions and their partners in healthcare organizations with a kickstart in information security and privacy (IB&P) in Long-term Care. The multi-year program aims to help as many long-term care organizations as possible to demonstrably comply with applicable standards such as NEN 7510.

What you will do.

  • Setting up and conducting risk analyses (workshops).
  • Advising and guiding the implementation of measures using NEN 7510.
  • Giving workshops and providing support to healthcare organizations.
  • Working within a team on practical tools that healthcare organizations can use themselves.
  • Supporting healthcare organizations both remotely and on-site.
  • Performing approximately 50 risk analyses and advising/guiding 50 healthcare organizations per year to demonstrably comply with NEN 7510 and related standards.

Profile

  • You enjoy traveling and are accustomed to giving workshops.
  • Well-versed in long-term care organizations (VVT, GHZ, GGZ) and their challenges in digitalization and risk management concerning information security and privacy.
  • Experience in giving workshops and supporting healthcare organizations.
  • Willingness to conduct implementation projects and workshops at the healthcare organization's location.
  • Able to determine for each necessary change how it can best be realized in healthcare organizations and what supporting tools are needed.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by the parties.
  • A large network within the healthcare sector.

What they ask

  • University (WO) working/thinking level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the government and healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience as an advisor and process facilitator in relation to information security.
  • Ability to communicate with representatives of healthcare organizations and their ICT suppliers.

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of care for the disabled, elderly care, and/or home care at strategic, tactical, and operational levels (language, culture, processes).
  • Domain knowledge of the healthcare field and experience with digitalization and information management processes in healthcare.
  • Experience in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex information security and privacy issues in accordance with NEN 7510 and AVG (GDPR).
  • Experience in solving AI-related issues to ensure AI operates legally, ethically and robustly is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CISM or CISSP.
  • CAICO (AI compliance officer) is a plus.
