Heat Exchanger Technician

As a technician, you will participate in maintenance and interventions at various clients. You will have a varied set of tasks and primarily work on-site, often in a small, experienced team. You will join a small, collegial SME with short communication lines and work with an experienced team of technicians and employees. You will have a lot of variety in your assignments and work for diverse companies within the food industry.

What you will do.

  • Disassembly and assembly of plate and tube heat exchangers
  • Maintenance and repair of heat exchangers, brand-independent
  • Inspection and inventory of the condition of heat exchangers, plates
  • Replacing and applying new gaskets
  • On-site pressure testing and testing of heat exchangers
  • Cleaning and maintenance of heat exchangers
  • Discussing findings and possible solutions with the client
  • Participating in interventions and technical projects on location
  • Possibility to expand tasks with disassembly and assembly of various types of sanitary valves
  • Revision of various valves (butterfly valves, check valves, ball valves, control valves, bottom valves...)
  • Working on different brands in flow technology

  • Experience with heat exchangers, valves, or other flow technology is a plus, not a must
  • Hands-on mentality and a healthy dose of technical curiosity
  • Good command of Dutch
  • Education: Technical secondary education - 3rd degree: Electromechanics and energy; Professional bachelor: Electromechanics and energy, or equivalent by experience
