As a rehabilitation assistant in a rehabilitation center, you will see the results of your care every week.
- Clients arrive vulnerable, often after a hospital stay, and work on their recovery.
- You will get to know them and experience firsthand how they gradually become more independent.
What you will do.
- You help clients with getting up, washing and dressing, and other daily activities.
- You do not do for someone what they are trying to relearn themselves; you participate in exercises, encourage, and reduce support as soon as possible.
- Your observations are shared with the nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist, and are directly incorporated into the treatment plan.
- Due to the rapid turnover, you will get to know many different people and situations in a short time.
Profile
- You have a Level 2 assistant diploma and are ready to serve clients with enthusiasm and attention.
- If you do not yet have a diploma but are interested in working in healthcare, there is an opportunity to combine learning and working through a Level 2 assistant training program.
- You are flexibly available on different working days and times, including weekends. One fixed day per week when you are unavailable can be communicated.
- You know what clients need and are happy to do everything to make them feel comfortable.
- You enjoy working together, helping colleagues, and creating a pleasant atmosphere on the ward with them.
