As an Income Consultant, you manage the benefits file and perform mutations, progress reviews, and reassessments.
- You interact with residents about their benefits and help them further.
- The goal is to optimally align support for residents with their specific situation.
- There is embedding, guidance, and authority within the organization.
What you do
- Conduct (intake) interviews.
- Conduct home visits if necessary.
- Refer and collaborate with social partners.
- Report on applications for living expenses, special assistance, and low-income schemes.
- Manage the benefits file (mutations, progress reviews, assessment of tax assessments for tax credits).
- Process terminations.
- Handle fines.

- You consult with residents, social partners, and colleagues within a municipal organization.

- Demonstrable completed HBO bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as an income consultant.
- Demonstrable work experience within a joint public authority.
- Agreement with the stated secondment conditions.
Preferences.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as an income consultant.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience within a joint public authority.
- Demonstrable work experience with home visits, special assistance, and handling fines.
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 2 years with status holders and low-income schemes.
