IAM Engineer Consultant

To support the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Team, a government organization is looking for two IAM Engineers/ Consultants. In the coming year, the team faces the challenge of continuing to deliver services with the current tooling in a stable environment and assisting with the migration to new tooling, followed by the phasing out of the current tooling. In addition, the IAM team performs a number of important functions.

For efficient realization, it is important that user stories are elaborated within the concepts and possibilities of the MicroFocus / NetIQ Identity Management and Identity Governance & administration software currently in use. Knowledge and experience with these MicroFocus software products are essential.

What you will do.

• Translate Identity Management and Governance requirements into concrete User Stories that are directly realizable based on Open Text NetIQ Identity Manager and Identity Governance
• Manage and configure the Open Text NetIQ Identity Governance and IdM/eDir modules
• Monitor the functional and technical coherence of the Identity Management and Governance functionality to be realized
• Design integration chains for Account and Access Provisioning
• Advise Business, IT, and Architecture regarding setup choices for the IAM and IGA landscape

What they ask

• The candidate is fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken
• HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level, obtained through education or experience in IT
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in integration software
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrable experience as an engineer with an integrated OpenText NetIQ landscape consisting of at least Identity Manager, Identity Governance, eDirectory, iManager, SSPR, and Identity Manager Dashboard, where the candidate has been responsible for design, configuration, troubleshooting, lifecycle management
• Minimum 7 years of experience in realizing integration chains for Identity & Access provisioning
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrable experience with eDirectory replicas, DriverSets, DirXML Script, ECMA Drivers, LDAP schema extensions, RBPM, and Identity Governance Catalog
• Minimum 7 years of experience within an IAM landscape with at least 25,000 identities, multiple HR source systems, at least 100 connected target applications, and a hybrid on-premises/cloud architecture
• Minimum 7 years of experience with the implementation of OpenText NetIQ Identity Manager in combination with an HR source system
• Minimum 7 years of knowledge and experience with networks, LDAP, and operating systems and techniques such as SOAP, REST, JDBC, LDAP, SCIM, Message Queues, and Event Driven Provisioning
• Minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience with Entra Id and Azure Active Directory

Preferences.

• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing interfaces between the mentioned Open Text products and SAP HCM and/or AFAS Software, substantiated with concrete examples and relatable to the CV
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile team
• Demonstrable experience in maintaining and further developing an existing OpenText NetIQ landscape containing custom drivers, custom policies, custom workflows, and custom provisioning logic
• Responsible for troubleshooting complex provisioning problems
• Responsible for performance optimization
• Responsible for upgrades of NetIQ Identity Manager products
• Responsible for migrations between different NetIQ versions
• Responsible for relocating NETIQ environments to another data center
