What you do
As an Occupational Health Physician, you perform socio-medical assessments and speak with clients during consultations about their physical, psychological, and social situation. You investigate the influence of health complaints on functioning and assess possibilities regarding work and participation. You will deal with various laws and regulations, such as the Sickness Benefits Act (ZW), the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA/WGA), and the Unemployment Insurance Act (WW).
You form a careful medical judgment based on conversations, medical information, and your professional expertise. In doing so, you look not only at limitations but also at possibilities. No client is the same, which challenges you daily to analyze complex issues and arrive at a well-founded advice. - You are a BIG-registered physician
- You have an interest in or affinity with Occupational Health and Social Security
- You possess strong communicative and analytical skills
- You can work independently and are able to make well-founded assessments
