This assignment is with a dairy producer that manufactures milk powder at a site featuring a modern powder tower and continuous operation. The site is in an exciting growth phase following a recent integration, with new products being launched and processes being further developed.
Team. You will lead a team of 5 experienced lab technicians with in-depth professional knowledge. The team is facing changes and needs someone who can bring structure and coach them to take initiative. You will work closely with QA, Production, and R&D, reporting to the Quality Manager.
What you will do. As QC Lead, you will be the linchpin of the quality control lab. You will combine in-depth lab knowledge with strong leadership, in a ratio of 60% people management and 40% operational-technical tasks.
Your role and impact.
- You will guide your team through a period of change with a clear, people-oriented approach.
- You will manage daily lab planning and set priorities based on production and projects.
- You will take the lead in improving processes, methodologies, and reporting.
- You will work closely with QA, production, and R&D, acting as a true service-oriented partner.
- You will communicate transparently with the Quality Manager about progress and challenges.
- You will oversee lab equipment, calibrations, purchases, and reagents.
