There is a high demand for spatial planning lawyers (RO) due to the transition to the environmental plan, which must be completed by 2032. Additional external hiring is needed to free up permanent employees to work on this transition process.
What you do
- Advise on complex legal issues within the physical living environment, such as environmental quality, environmental plans, economy, and spatial planning legislation.
- Review legal procedures for the physical environment and ensure legal quality.
- Legally translate legislation and jurisprudence in the field of spatial planning procedures into municipal policy and advise on solutions and legal process risks.
- Represent the organization in objection and appeal cases, including mediation, and conduct defense before the Council of State.
- May be deployed on parts of the transition plan.
What they ask
- A completed university degree in law (spatial/administrative law).
- At least 3 years of experience in a role advising on spatial planning with comparable activities.
Preferences.
- Knowledge and experience of the territory of the municipality concerned.
