Credit Business Expert
As a Home Lending Credit Business Expert, you participate in improvement projects, develop business requirements, and translate them into IT solutions in collaboration with a Business Analyst. You perform UAT tests, with a strong focus on themes such as fraud, internal control, regulations, scorecards, and data quality. The focus is on mortgage loans and installment loans. The role does not involve operational file processing and is primarily aimed at change, optimization, and risk management.
What you will do.
- (Co-)realize and coordinate business projects and improvement trajectories within the Home Lending expertise domain.
- Challenge and help adjust the operational framework (guidelines, authorizations, SLAs, etc.) to optimize customer experience and operational costs.
- Proactively collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve interaction between all involved parties with the aim of optimizing end-to-end processes, management tools, and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously and proactively detect and signal end-to-end opportunities within your own expertise domain, and participate in change actions and projects to improve end-to-end processes and management tools, thereby contributing to optimal risk management.
Project and process improvement.
- Identify improvement opportunities within credit processes.
- Develop business requirements.
- Prepare business cases for improvements.
- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and manual steps.
- Develop future processes ("as-is" to "to-be").
- Prioritize improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate implementations with various stakeholders.
- Evaluate the impact on risk, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Bridge the gap between business and IT and contribute to the improvement processes of existing or new tools.
Challenge existing operations.
- Continuously ask questions such as: Why do we do this this way? Is this still compliant with regulations? Can we automate this? Is this risk sufficiently covered? Is this customer-friendly?
