An experienced GCP specialist is sought for an organization. You will join an environment with a mature data landscape and multiple data and product teams, consisting of strong senior and staff engineers. The focus is on advising and providing direction with deep GCP knowledge, with occasional hands-on support.
What you do
- Advising data teams (data engineers, analytics engineers and architects) on the setup and use of GCP and BigQuery
- Collaborating with product teams across multiple sprints
- Guiding technical discussions between teams to a decision
- Helping teams improve processes and select and implement the right tools
- Contributing to and improving monitoring
- Advising on the use of agentic AI within the data platform
- Providing hands-on support where necessary
Profile
You are a senior data professional with in-depth knowledge of GCP. You are comfortable in discussions with stakeholders as well as in technical discussions with staff engineers. You are a strong communicator, dare to take a stand, and know how to engage teams. You enjoy working in an advisory role where you make an impact through others.
