The Medical Information Management (MIM) department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital information provision within a military healthcare organization. This organization is complex, dynamic, and meaningful, and important for delivering good and continuous care. MIM consists of four sections: information and data management, functional administration & support, information security & privacy protection, and project & portfolio management.
Together, they implement an integrated information provision for the military medical chain, optimally supporting data registration, exchange, and analysis. The functional administration & support (FBO) section is responsible for the operational support of military healthcare information provisions, including operational support, maintenance of generic IT/IV facilities, and the development and functional administration of business-critical applications.
What you do
As a Functional Administrator, you ensure that the digital information provision continues to function, is user-friendly, and meets the needs of the professionals.
- Functionally managing and improving the information system for occupational health services, corporate medicine, and insurance medicine.
- Acting as the first point of contact for user questions, incidents, and change requests related to the information system.
- Guiding professionals in using the information system effectively and translating user requirements into concrete adjustments or improvements.
- Supporting projects in setting up, testing, and implementing new functionalities and functional enhancements.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, with at least a completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree, preferably in healthcare, ICT, or information management.
- Up-to-date knowledge and several years of experience as a functional administrator or application administrator.
- Knowledge and experience within occupational health services or insurance medicine, or with the Xpert Suite information system, is a definite plus.
- Knowledge of BiSL, ITIL, or other management standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Affinity with the defense context.
