This support includes both formulating and implementing a cleanup approach, as well as guiding employees during its execution. The goal is to gain more control over information department by department in a new environment, so that it is and remains more discoverable and available for reuse and collaboration.
A project-based approach is envisioned, with project management being part of the assignment.
What you do
- Formulate a standard cleanup approach for older information
- Daily project leadership and accountability, including planning, steering
- Execute the cleanup approach department by department
- Inventory and analysis of current document and data storage
- Identify anomalies in data storage
- Translate the storage of current documents to the new document storage and structure
- Clean up and place documents in a logical structure
- Advise on structure, retention periods
- Guide and explain the working method to employees during and about the execution
- Coach employees in determining which information and files should be moved to the new environment and which should be deleted, archived
- Monitor and record the application of the approach and identify management risks and areas for improvement
