Communications Advisor

For a professional register administrator, an experienced communications advisor is sought to take the lead in communication within a complex change process. The professional provides strategic advice, connects various interests, and also handles the execution.

What you will do.

• You will develop and monitor the internal and external communication approach for the various program lines and advise on strategy, timing, and risks.
• You will identify target groups and their information needs, and translate complex content into clear key messages and target group-oriented communication.
• You will develop communication plans, Q&As, web texts, and other communication tools, and coordinate implementation with involved colleagues and external parties.
• You will identify social, administrative, and reputational risks, advise on sensitive situations, and prepare spokesmanship and press communication where necessary.
• You will monitor the progress and coherence of communication activities, track reactions and results, and adjust the approach when needed.

What they ask

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a communications advisor, preferably within complex change or implementation projects.
• Experience with strategic communication advisory and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with communication within a societal, public, or political-administrative environment.
• Demonstrable experience with issue and reputation management and preparing media communication.
• Excellent writing skills and experience with developing communication plans, key messages, and target group-oriented content.
• Ability to quickly grasp a complex dossier and easily switch between different interests and stakeholders.
• Think ahead, foresee the consequences of communication choices, and dare to provide critical and unsolicited advice.
• Be strategically strong, but also capable of writing clear texts or Q&As yourself.
• Know how to explain complex subjects understandably, taking into account sensitivities within an organization.
