Data Analyst

You are analytically strong and convert data into concrete improvements. You use data to make processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof. You analyze trends, develop forecasts, and translate insights into advice for stakeholders, contributing to the optimization of the supply chain.

What you do

You will be part of the Insights & Analytics team and report to the Manager Insights & Analytics. Together with other data analysts and the Business Intelligence team, you will help the organization make data-driven decisions. Your focus will be on forecasting, scenario analyses, and optimizing supply chain processes. You will investigate issues affecting multiple processes, predict future volumes and capacity needs, and translate data into clear insights and advice.

This will support stakeholders at operational, tactical, and strategic levels in improving quality, service, and efficiency.

  • Develop and improve forecasts for volumes, capacity, and operational performance.
  • Conduct requested and unsolicited analyses to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze issues affecting multiple processes within the supply chain.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making.
  • Perform scenario analyses and optimization studies based on internal and external data.
  • Advise stakeholders, management, and the board based on data insights.
  • Initiate improvements that contribute to higher quality, better service, and more efficient processes.
  • Present insights and recommendations to various target groups.

What they ask

  • Completed university degree (WO) in Econometrics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, SQL, and Python.
  • Good command of Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of statistical models, forecasting techniques, or Operations Research is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into clear insights.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and advising both operational teams and management.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to create support for change.
