We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague expert by experience. A connector who will strengthen our teams with expertise in, and their own vision on, peer support. As an expert by experience, you will work in a multidisciplinary team that provides recovery-oriented care to clients with a Severe Psychiatric Disorder (SPD). People for whom living in the neighborhood or regular sheltered housing is not yet feasible reside here.
We offer them a recovery-promoting living environment, supporting a meaningful existence. You are part of the treatment team of a healthcare organization and, together with clients, explore where there is room for their recovery.
What you do
- As an expert by experience, you fulfill a connecting role between clients, their environment, the team, and social organizations.
- You utilize your knowledge of social resources to provide appropriate support.
- You work both independently and in duos, both at clients' homes and at an organization location.
- You support clients in increasing self-knowledge to gain insight into what is important, with the aim of improving their quality of life.
- You recognize and acknowledge struggles and strengths and think in possibilities.
- You participate in case discussions and treatment discussions. Your expertise serves as a supplement to the teams to jointly achieve good treatment and support for clients.
- Monthly, you participate in work meetings and intervision with fellow experts by experience from other teams in the cluster.
- Together with these colleagues, you organize and facilitate recovery groups.
- You contribute to the development and implementation of new interventions, such as training for network intake.
- You support clients in their daily functioning and in increasing self-reliance and self-insight.
- You work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated treatment to clients with complex care needs.
- You conduct recovery-oriented conversations.
