An organization is looking for an experienced Application Platform Manager / Technical Service Owner who will take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical applications and platforms. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these services: from infrastructure and application management to roadmaps, budgets, vendor management, upgrades, projects, and continuous improvement. This is a versatile role where technical expertise, product management, and project management come together.
This role is at the intersection of infrastructure, cloud, application management, product ownership, project delivery, vendor management, and financial management.
What you do
Application & Infrastructure Management.
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of critical applications and platforms.
- Hands-on work with Windows and Linux server environments for application deployment and maintenance.
- Designing and planning infrastructure for custom applications.
- Managing license servers and tools such as FlexLM and LMtools, including troubleshooting and renewals.
- Managing ALM platforms, preferably with experience in PTC products.
- Coordinating application upgrades, migrations, and Disaster Recovery activities.
- Supporting engineers in the use of business-critical applications.
- Working with container platforms such as AWS ECS or similar technologies.
- Applying broad knowledge of full-stack infrastructure technologies.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during design and implementation processes.
- Willingness to occasionally support upgrades or migrations outside office hours.
Product & Project Management.
- Defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with business objectives.
- Translating business needs into requirements and user stories in JIRA.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog to realize maximum business value.
- Collaborating with business, engineering, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver projects.
- Working according to PMO processes and tracking project progress.
- Analyzing performance and driving continuous improvements.
- Actively gathering feedback from Product Owners and stakeholders to increase adoption and satisfaction.
Financial & Vendor Management.
- Managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets within your domain.
- Involvement in purchase order processes and vendor management.
- Preparing financial forecasts and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Coordinating vendors around licenses, renewals, and service delivery.
- Acting as the central responsible party for both the technical platform and the business value it creates.

- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in application/platform management or technical service management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure.
- Experience with application deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
- Experience with cloud and container platforms, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of ALM platforms; experience with PTC is a strong asset.
- Experience with license management, ideally via FlexLM / LMtools.
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience supporting engineering or R&D applications.
