A municipal organization supports young people with all their questions regarding finances, work, learning, and care. Income issues are viewed from the resident's context to arrive at broad solutions. You ensure that the resident can access the benefit correctly and on time, as well as the necessary financial provisions in a specific situation. You work closely with colleagues and partners within the social domain.
Conversations with residents take place where necessary, such as home visits, appointments at the city hall, with partners in the city, or by phone.
What you do
- Assess and process applications for income support
- Process mutations, terminations
- Identify financial problems among young people and families
- Collaborate with youth counselors and other professionals within the social domain
- Provide information and advice on municipal regulations and national provisions
- Actively contribute to early detection and prevention of debt
- Prepare reports and advice based on socio-financial investigations
- Work independently and proactively, within the framework of the assignment and in consultation with colleagues
What they ask
- Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience with the implementation of income-related tasks from the Participation Act
- Demonstrable work experience within a municipal organization in a Dutch province
Preferences.

- Demonstrable work experience with independently managing a caseload in the past 2 years
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as an income and legality consultant
- Demonstrable work experience with Suite 4 Sociaal Domein applications
- A completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in the direction of Social Work, SJD
