Do you enjoy making decisions and are you energized by analyzing and assessing applications? As an underwriter, you are the expert who determines whether applications within a niche of pleasure craft and recreational homes fit within the conditions. You look beyond the application alone, analyze risks, and ensure a careful and smooth acceptance process with your keen eye.
What you do
- You analyze and assess insurance applications and make a careful estimate of the risks.
- You prepare and evaluate offers, keeping an eye on both the client and the conditions.
- You maintain contact with insurance agencies and ensure clear and pleasant cooperation.
- You identify commercial opportunities and actively contribute to improving services.
- You liaise with the authorized agent to arrive at suitable and customer-oriented solutions.
What they ask
- At least a completed MBO level 4 education.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position within the insurance market.
- At least Wft Basis. Wft Schadeverzekeringen Particulier is a plus, but can also be obtained in the short term.
- Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and German.
- Customer and results-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.
Preferences.
- Affinity with water sports and/or pleasure craft.
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Service-oriented, flexible, and stress-resistant.
- Able to weigh different interests well and prioritize the common interest.
