As an Asset Manager, you are responsible for the implementation and daily operation of asset management for infrastructure, combined with the general management of an organization's patrimony.
What you will do. Asset management:
- Implement asset management within the organization
- Perform (or have performed) surveys, inspections, and detailed research programs and interpret the results
- Collect and map all information related to the infrastructure
- Support management in developing cost-effective maintenance concepts, work packages, and work instructions
- Prepare specifications, quantity surveys
- Administrative and financial follow-up of asset management
- Consultation and negotiations with involved partners
- Functionally guide and coach asset management supervisors and drafters
Management:
- Acquire and monitor a general understanding of the condition of the patrimony
- Patrimony maintenance: determine needs, plan priorities, and monitor execution
- Propose and monitor planning and cost aspects
- Communication and regular alignment with involved partners
- Functionally guide and coach supervisors responsible for daily field follow-up
What they are looking for.
- Master's level of thinking and working
- Completed civil engineering education
- Experience with or knowledge of asset management (management system) and inspection techniques, or willingness to develop expertise in this area
- Knowledge of GIS and preferably AutoCAD
- Analytical and critical perspective, solution-oriented thinking and working
- Experience with project-based work and maintaining structure and overview in activities
- Strong communication skills and ability to persuade others, even in settings with conflicting interests
