Modernize an AWS environment while it is fully in production.
- Take technical responsibility for an existing production platform.
- Co-determine how the environment evolves and build the improvements yourself.
- Focus on reproducible infrastructure with Terraform, controlled releases, and tested recovery procedures.
What you do
- Design, manage, and automate AWS infrastructure with Terraform, with attention to networking, IAM, and security.
- Manage container workloads and improve CI/CD pipelines for autonomous and controlled releases by development and QA.
- Sharpen monitoring and alerting, investigate production incidents, and address recurring causes.
- Test failover and recovery, and implement improvements in terms of performance, security, and cloud costs.
What they ask
- Several years of hands-on experience with AWS in production.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD.
- Ability to investigate a production problem from application log to network configuration.
- Knowledge of the necessary checks before rolling out a change.
