As a Platform Engineer, you build, automate, and improve the technical facilities on which the platform runs. You set up environments, automate recurring work, and ensure that changes are implemented repeatably, controllably, and securely. You work on configuring applications and data processing on the platform, support users in making data available, and solve complex technical issues together with administrators and specialists.
An important part of the role is building and documenting knowledge within the team, so that the platform is managed in a future-proof manner and dependence on external hiring is reduced within a government organization.

- Automating installation, configuration, and recurring management tasks
- Supporting data processing and making data available to users
- Solving complex technical issues together with management and specialists
- Participating in releases, testing, and controlled implementation of changes
- Building, documenting, and transferring knowledge within the team
- Identifying technical debt and making improvement proposals
- Documenting and maintaining technical documentation
Position in the organization. You initially report to the Platform Product Owner. You also work closely with operational users, architecture, data, and security specialists, other administrators within the platform team, and chain partners both inside and outside the organization. In this collaboration, you actively contribute to alignment between operations, technology, and management, ensuring the platform remains reliable and ready for deployment.
