A healthcare organization is looking for a pharmacy assistant to ensure the safe, correct, and timely delivery of medicines to patients. You will work in a modern hospital pharmacy and combine a varied set of tasks with activities in a brand new cleanroom, which will be operational from autumn 2026.
What you will do.
- Assist with the distribution of medicines for various departments.
- Prepare magistral, sterile, and cytostatic preparations in the cleanroom.
- Perform the distribution of medical materials under the management of the pharmacy (on a rotating basis).
- Receive orders and process the associated administration.
- Control stock levels and expiry dates.
- Assist at the counter for the dispensing of medicines to patients and nurses.
- Be involved in the internal logistics of the pharmacy, such as delivering anesthetics to departments and receiving deliveries.
- Be the first point of contact by phone for the pharmacy.
Profile
- Diploma Bachelor in pharmaceutical and biological lab technology, or a diploma of higher technical education, option pharmaceutical-technical assistant.
- Recognition as a Pharmaceutical-Technical assistant for hospital pharmacies is an asset.
- Proficient in working with various IT applications (Word, Excel). Knowledge of a specific hospital information system is a plus.
- Flexible, stress-resistant, quick learner, and maintaining an efficient work pace.
- Organized, working accurately and punctually.
- Willing to work from Monday to Friday (daytime hours) and Saturday morning (approximately 1 weekend out of 9).
