As a Transport Planner, you support the efficient deployment of drivers and equipment. You will work closely with experienced planners, Account Management, and the drivers. You will have ample opportunity to learn and develop yourself within a dynamic environment.
What you do
- Support in planning routes and deploying the right equipment based on product, driver qualifications, and customer wishes
- Provide clear instructions to drivers via satellite systems, among others
- Monitor the progress of routes and signal deviations
- Contribute to moving equipment to the correct locations
- Plan maintenance and inspections in consultation with the technical department
- Process planning data in the Transport Management System (TMS)
What they ask
- MBO or HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a completed education in logistics, transport
- Ambitious, motivated, stress-resistant, and creative in devising solutions
- Team player and clear in communicating with both drivers and office colleagues
- Willing to work evenings or weekends in due course, with appropriate compensation and guidance
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
- German is a plus
