As a residential carpenter, you will work on various maintenance and repair tasks within social and private housing. This primarily involves work orders: short, small-scale assignments resulting from reports from residents or clients such as housing corporations and property managers. You will be deployed to various locations and perform tasks independently.
What you do
- Repair or replace doors, frames, skirting boards, hardware, floorboards, and other wooden structures
- Repair damage to walls, ceilings
- Maintain direct contact with residents, where a customer-friendly and presentable attitude is important
- Work in a solution-oriented and tidy manner, and handle the variety of work orders well
What they ask
- Demonstrable experience as a residential carpenter, preferably in the maintenance and renovation of rental and owner-occupied homes
- In possession of a driving license B (E)
- Own tools and transport
- Proficiency in the Dutch language
- A valid VCA-Basic certificate or the willingness to obtain one
