As a Talent Specialist, you ensure that our talent processes run smoothly, our data provides valuable insights, and colleagues know what is expected of them at the right time. You manage an internal performance management platform, from technical setup and testing to communication, coordination, and improvement.
Additionally, you contribute to employee engagement surveys, traineeships, a Talent Community, and various talent processes within a media company in the Netherlands and Belgium.
What You Will Do. You will be part of a team within the People & Sustainability department. This team stimulates talent development, connects employees with the strategic ambitions of the organization, and creates space for growth and development. Together with HR colleagues, managers, employees, and external partners, you ensure that our talent processes are well-structured and continuously improve.
Your main responsibility is the management and further development of the internal platform for goals, feedback, and development. You ensure that processes are properly set up, tested, communicated, and followed up. You analyze usage and feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate them into concrete solutions.
In addition, you will be involved with:
- Team Reviews, succession planning, and 360° feedback: you support processes related to talent and key positions.
- Engagement survey: you coordinate communication and follow-up, analyze results, and help translate them into concrete improvement actions.
- Traineeships: from setting up recruitment campaigns and supporting selection to organizing training and events.
- Talent Community: you support the selection of participants, compile programs, and organize meetings.
- Improvement of talent processes: you continuously look at how processes can be smarter, more efficient, and more user-friendly, partly with the help of data and AI.
Your work is therefore varied and concrete. One moment you are testing a new setup in the platform, the next you are translating research results into an improvement proposal, coordinating with a supplier, or ensuring that a meeting or event runs smoothly.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone who is energized by the combination of people, processes, and data. You quickly see where something can be improved, enjoy diving into systems and data, and do not lose sight of the user experience. You take responsibility, work independently, and can clearly explain complex matters.
Furthermore:
- You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) or bachelor's level of thinking and working.
- You have at least five years of experience within HR, preferably with talent development, performance management, or similar processes.
- You are independent, responsible, and structured, and effortlessly maintain an overview when multiple processes are running simultaneously.
- You can easily switch between strategy and execution: from the bigger picture to precise, executive, and analytical work.
- You are curious and continuously looking for improvement, actively using data, technology, and AI to work smarter.
